Weekend outfits.

This is my Saturday outfit for running errands. It was such a beautiful, warm day, I took a very long walk in the afternoon. I am feeling I wore lots of old stuff: the shirt, the tights, and especially the necklace. If I have kept this stuff for so long, it means I like it a lot!
Let me introduce you to my new trench coat:


Trench coat - UC Benetton
Bag - Aéropostale
Scarf - Thrifted
The color of this trench is slightly darker than the classic beige, and the lenght is shorter. I like it a lot for these reasons, andd it was a more than reasonable deal. Pretty happy with my purchase.

I wore this on Sunday to go out for lunch. Still a very sunny and warm day - too bad now it's dark and it's probably going to rain! 
I have neclected these jeans for so long. Looking at them, I think I prefere these to my Diesel ones: these are more classic and chic in my opinion. I am planning to wear them more often, including to work.The green/violet necklaces adds a nice touch of color to the outfit, in my opinion.
And I dyed my hair, even though you can't probably say from this picture...

There are many pretty details in these outfits! I really like the green and purple necklace and your bright multi-coloured scarf. And the combination of the shirt and cardigan with the small silvery necklace in the first picture.

I like the new trench coat, it suits you, and I think they're always great paired with scarves!

And while I loved you Deisel jeans I have to say that yes, I think these suit you a bit better. More classic, less trendy, and dark colors just keep a clean line better than ones with fading.

Taking Stock

  After a long hiatus, I decided to start writing again... I don't expect anyone to really be reading, but I just love so much going through my old entries, it's a sort of treasured diary. The image above was taken on April 25th (bank holiday here), during our bike ride at the Aqueducts park in Rome. Such a beautiful day! So much has changed since last time I wrote here, I don't know where to start. So I start by taking stock! Making:  eggplant pesto. As requested by my girl, who loved it last summer. I stopped doing it during the winter, as eggplant were not so good, but husband found some nice ones and as I write they are in the oven. Drinking : water and more water. The sparkling one, thanks! Watching : videos (youtube and instagram) on home and food organizing, fitness, and, of course, makeup. Love Love Love Johnny Ross ! Reading : Minimalism , by Gwyneth Snow. BDIB - Arm Party!

  This is my second time participating in the Bloggers Do it better series.  This time, the theme is " Arm Party ". And I am glad Kristina had this idea, because it pushed me to take out and wear my bangles...  I wore this outfit - it's an exact repetition, so I didn't take pictures.  And here is the arm Party! I bought the six striped bangles during my trip to Corsica, 20 years ago. They are six like the letters that compose my name.The brown one is from a store in Buffalo. The thin one is even older, it's about 25 years old! A classmate gave me a bunch of them (it was the 80's and Madonna was just starting to get famous) and I somehow managed to keep this one through the years. Now I want to start wearing all the other bangles I have, too!
