Updates

Gosh, I have been absent from this blog for so long that I had not seen the new Blogger layout. And it is getting a little confusing!
Now for the updates.
Things have been hectic (and work has been crazy!), but I am happy to report that we are almost done. We are down to the details now.
FH is dealing with signposts, and I am finishing to prepare the sachets for our guests. Only one person is in doubt if she can make it to the reception, and the honeymoon is almost planned.
I can't wait to go back to my "second home" - the US!

Above is a picture of one of the updos I tried - it's not what I chose, but it's interesting that it makes my hair look much longer that it actually is!
The nice thing about being a bride-to -e is that pampering is not only allowed, but almost mandatory. So, today I am going for my second makeup trial and a pedi, and the day before the wedding I have scheduled a mani and a massage!

My colleagues organized a very fun batchelorette party. I only had to show up, they had planned everything - and I am glad my sister and cousins could make it to the party too!

Planning our wedding has been an interesting process. I am a very detail-oriented person, so it has been sometimes frustrating to let go of the control over something - for example, I didn't really want signposts, or rice after the ceremony.
But I am slowly learning that the goal is the most important thing. And here the goal is to get married with the man I love. The rest is... just detail!

That's all for now - I hope I can update a little bit more regularly...
