Sunday outfit - casual and a scarf

Today''s thème was "casual and a scarf". I pulled out this scarf I haven't used for a while (mainly because it's not very warm) because its colors match very well the rest of the outfit. 
It was nothing special, but cute and comfortable. The earrings are quite unique, a gift from some ethnic store:



This afternoon I went to have a coffee with my sister, brother in law and niece. Then we took a walk, got caught in the rain and had to run to a café. But at least I convinced them to send little niece to take a couple of cooking classes for children. Well, it wasn't so hard to convince them, I just had to inform them these classes existed!
I am taking a cooking class too, on next Sunday. It'll be on bread making, I am really excited about it!

Taking Stock

  After a long hiatus, I decided to start writing again... I don't expect anyone to really be reading, but I just love so much going through my old entries, it's a sort of treasured diary. The image above was taken on April 25th (bank holiday here), during our bike ride at the Aqueducts park in Rome. Such a beautiful day! So much has changed since last time I wrote here, I don't know where to start. So I start by taking stock! Making:  eggplant pesto. As requested by my girl, who loved it last summer. I stopped doing it during the winter, as eggplant were not so good, but husband found some nice ones and as I write they are in the oven. Drinking : water and more water. The sparkling one, thanks! Watching : videos (youtube and instagram) on home and food organizing, fitness, and, of course, makeup. Love Love Love Johnny Ross ! Reading : Minimalism , by Gwyneth Snow. BDIB - Arm Party!

  This is my second time participating in the Bloggers Do it better series.  This time, the theme is " Arm Party ". And I am glad Kristina had this idea, because it pushed me to take out and wear my bangles...  I wore this outfit - it's an exact repetition, so I didn't take pictures.  And here is the arm Party! I bought the six striped bangles during my trip to Corsica, 20 years ago. They are six like the letters that compose my name.The brown one is from a store in Buffalo. The thin one is even older, it's about 25 years old! A classmate gave me a bunch of them (it was the 80's and Madonna was just starting to get famous) and I somehow managed to keep this one through the years. Now I want to start wearing all the other bangles I have, too!
