Sunday outfit - hippie chic!

Bag - sister's gift from Morocco (old!)

Today I feel a bit hippie in this gauzy, colored skirt and my old old moroccan bag. The sunglasses are not so hippie, but I wanted to have them in the picture anyway. I wore this outfit for a quick trip to the supermarket and lunch at mother in law's.

This post is supposed to be my entry for IFB project # 106 - Summer leather.
I know there are plenty of leather garments appropriate for summer now, but I just can't bring myself to wear them. Leather clothes for me are for fall and winter.
On the other hand, I love leather accessories, and both my bag and sandals are leather. That's the most I can do with it during the summer!

Taking Stock

  After a long hiatus, I decided to start writing again... I don't expect anyone to really be reading, but I just love so much going through my old entries, it's a sort of treasured diary. The image above was taken on April 25th (bank holiday here), during our bike ride at the Aqueducts park in Rome. Such a beautiful day! So much has changed since last time I wrote here, I don't know where to start. So I start by taking stock! Making:  eggplant pesto. As requested by my girl, who loved it last summer. I stopped doing it during the winter, as eggplant were not so good, but husband found some nice ones and as I write they are in the oven. Drinking : water and more water. The sparkling one, thanks! Watching : videos (youtube and instagram) on home and food organizing, fitness, and, of course, makeup. Love Love Love Johnny Ross ! Reading : Minimalism , by Gwyneth Snow. BDIB - Arm Party!

  This is my second time participating in the Bloggers Do it better series.  This time, the theme is " Arm Party ". And I am glad Kristina had this idea, because it pushed me to take out and wear my bangles...  I wore this outfit - it's an exact repetition, so I didn't take pictures.  And here is the arm Party! I bought the six striped bangles during my trip to Corsica, 20 years ago. They are six like the letters that compose my name.The brown one is from a store in Buffalo. The thin one is even older, it's about 25 years old! A classmate gave me a bunch of them (it was the 80's and Madonna was just starting to get famous) and I somehow managed to keep this one through the years. Now I want to start wearing all the other bangles I have, too!
